The Las Vegas Caesars Palace is to pay $250,000 fine for letting a gambler dance on one of the baccarat tables.

The casino settled on this fine with Nevada regulators that accused Caesars with a breach of the rules and a failure of protecting the game and the players.

The gambler played high-stakes baccarat in last October and jumped onto the table where he danced and placed more bets. He came down, but eventually climbed back on. The complaint read that the patron "climbed onto the baccarat table from his chair, walked on his baccarat table and placed baccarat wagers before returning to stand on his chair and eventually sitting".

The Nevada gaming control board says Caesars’ security should have stopped the gambler from behaving this way.
