The main event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prague ended with the victory of Andrey Pateychuk. The Russian poker player went home with €450,000 in profit, along with his first WPT title he added to his EPT San Remo victory from earlier this year.

As the final major step towards the forfeiture of Full Tilt Poker, an agreement was reached between Groupe Bernard Tapie and the shareholders of FTP. As a result, the United States Department of Justice can now acquire the room’s assets and resell it to GBT, while dismissing the civil charges against the company.

PokerStars organised a $10 million guaranteed Sunday Million, as part of the celebrations of the room’s 10th anniversary. With 62,116 players registering, the prize pool grew to a whopping $12,423,000 and the event became to be the biggest Sunday Million ever. As a result of a deal at the final table, Canadian player ‘First-Eagle’ emerged as the winner of the $1,146,574 first prize.
