As we have reported, Viktor ’Isilidur1’ Blom returned to high stakes grinding at PokerStars on 9 December with some brutal sessions; after losing $119,698 on Friday, he earned $620,598 the next day and $952,682 on Sunday, totalling at a whopping $1,453,582 profit for December. This instantly made him the biggest high stakes winner of the month.


Monday, however, saw Blom’s not entirely unexpected swing, as he managed to lose $774,576. He predominantly played $200/$400 PLO heads-up and 6-max, and lost the most to Rafi ’refaelamit’ Amit and ’long90110’, who appeared in September at PokerStars, plays from a Chinese IP and many consider him to be no other than Tom ’durrrr’ Dwan, even though there are hardly anything more than suspicion behind such assumptions.

’Long90110’ could take two monster pots during his session: one worth $212,175 on a $200/$400 PLO 6-max table (depriving ’toweliestar’ of his money, who still finished the day with profit) and another of $211,142 on a $200/$400 PLO HU table from ’Isildur1’.

The Swede was in position, raising to $1,360, ’long90110’ 3-bet $4,220, ’Isildur1’ 4-bet $12,880, ’long90110’ 5-bet $38,800 and Blom called. The flop came T J 4 . ’Long90110’ pushed his $66,772 and ’Isildur1’ called.

Despite his enormous loss, ‘Isildur1’ remains to be the biggest winner of the month with $679,005 in profit. Although at the moment he cannot be found at the tables, it would make little surprise if he tried to recover from his loss with yet another major session today.
