As we reported, PokerStars and ’Isildur1’ has parted ways on a mutual agreement, which means Viktor Blom is no longer a member of Team PokerStars Pro, effective Wednesday, 15 August. The Swede was short on words regarding the decision, saying only that he wants to focus on his poker career entirely.
The young pro did not wait long to show what exactly he means by focusing: one hour after the announcement, he started his poker marathon at the market leader room. First, he entered a 11 hours long $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO heads-up battle against 2012 online high stakes money list leader Andrew ‘EireAbu’ Grimason and managed to get up to $200,000 in profit after 2,500 hands on 6 tables.
The 8,000 hands session, however, had some twist and turns left: at around $300,000+, ‘Isisldur1’ got into a downswing and lost $400,000 in 500 hands. Eventually, he came back and ended the session with $210,000 in profit.

Even though ‘EireAbu’ was gone after that, Blom did not finish: he started playing $200/$400 PLO 6-max against the likes of ‘N Channing,’ ‘MrSweets28,’ ‘Theo J,’ ‘Jeans89,’ ‘Ilari FIN,’ ‘Deldar182,’ ‘1-ronnyr3,’ ‘BenyamineX,’ ‘M.O.P.’ and ‘GVOZDIKA55.’
Blom finished these matches with profit, too, nearing $400,000+. Even though he had already been playing for 24 hours, the Swede kept going on, playing Omaha Hi/Lo, where he lost a bit and $200/$400 PLO heads-up against ‘Jeans89’ (down to $300,000), in addition to some 2-7 Triple Draw for +$120,000.
At the time of the publication of this article, ‘Isildur1’ is still playing against ‘Jeans89’ on two $200/$400 PLO tables but is currently losing.
