2011. June 16.
<strong>Darren Woods</strong> won <em>WSOP </em>Event #19 $2,500 Limit Hold&rsquo;em, which makes him the third British player to win a bracelet in this year&rsquo;s championship. Event #20 $1,000 NLHE was taken down by <strong>Jason Somerville</strong>, who single-handedly (pun intended) defeated <strong>Yashar Darian</strong> heads-up.
Day 3 of the six-handed $2,500 Limit Hold’em event (WSOP #19) started with Alexander Kuzmin in the chiplead among the 12 remaining players. The final table, which was formed with the elimination of one of the favourites, Richard ‘nutsinho’ Lyndaker, was set up as seen below:

Gabriel Nassif was out first, and then at Level 23 (8,000/15,000) Andrey Zaichenko followed. Level 25 (13,000/25,000) saw Kuzmin being railed with {#}A {#}K against Samuel Golbuff’s and Kim Nguyen’s straights. Finally, Nguyen and Woods got to play heads-up after Golbuff ran into the latter’s pocket kings.

Nguyen did not manage to repeat Vanessa Selbst’s success of 2008 to win a WSOP event as Woods gained the lead and even increased it to an extent that he was dealt into the last hand with a stack ten times the size of Nguyen’s. They shoved preflop:

Nguyen: {#}K {#}2
Woods: {#}4 {#}2

Board: {#}K {#}4 {#}6 {#}J {#}4
