WSOPE Event #5, #6 - Michael Mizrachi Won Another Bracelet

<strong>Michael Mizrachi </strong>won his second golden bracelet at the <em>World Series of Poker Europe</em> (<em>WSOPE</em>) <em>&euro;10.400 NLHE Split Format </em>tournament. Event #6 also ended yesterday with the victory of <strong>Philippe Boucher</strong>.
By the 4th day of the WSOPE €10,400 NLHE Split Format event only 4 players stood (or sat to be precise). Roger Hairabedian faced Michael Mizrachi, Noah Schwartz faced Shawn Buchanan for the heads-up. (The point of this special split format event is that tables are 9-handed on the 1st day, 6-handed on the 2nd day. On the 3rd, day, players face each-other heads-up, whil on the 4th day is the final, when they also play heads-up for the bracelet.)

The Buchanan - Schwartz final came to its end first, Buchanan won a huge pot with a set, with which he became a 5 to 1 favourite. Soon, he Called Schwartz' {#}A {#}5 pre-flop all-in with his pocket kings, which held through the end, giving Buchanan the entry to the final heads-up.

Mizrachi and Hairabedian fought a considerably bigger fight, they started the final hand with nearly the same amount of chips. Mizrachi (21st blind level, 2.000/6.000/12.000) raised to 26,000, Hairabedian called. The flop came {#}J {#}5 {#}8 . Hairabedian bet out 30,000, Miczrachi insta-called. On the {#}4 turn, Hairabedian bet 80,000, to which Mizrachi re-popped to 480,000. Hairabedian went all-in, Mizrachi called.

Mizrachi started out the heads-up with twice as many chips as his opponent Buchanan. Mizrachi was confident all along, he took many chips from Buchanan. In the final hand he said "I'm all in. No more breaks for me". Buchanan wouldn't mind a break, but after a bit of thinking, he called.
