Partypoker made a big decision earlier this year when they banned all HUDs and forced players to change their screen names in order to make their games as safe and fair as they would be in a live casino.
The hand histories are anonymous, meaning that players can only see their screen names, other players at the tables are labeled as Player1, Player2, Player3, etc.
However, most of the poker community still hailed the announcement, as these HHs now make it possible for the players, to analyze their game and track their results properly, while still not violating the rule, which permits gathering information about the opponents.
The hand histories are coming with a text file format, but they're still not compatible with Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker. However, the developers of these tools have already received samples of the HHs and it's expected that players will be able to import them to their trackers after the next updates.
