Most poker players will know about the significant events happening each year, and one of the iconic ones is the Irish Poker Open (IPO). It occurs annually around March, and many believe this year will be one of the biggest tours yet.
The 2024 Open will be held from March 25th to April 1st and will feature many exciting events. Except for the WSOP, this tournament is the longest-running poker tour, starting in 1980. This year will be the 30th live edition of this tour, and it’ll unveil its new venue at the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) in Ballsbridge, Dublin.
The 2023 edition was a record-breaking year, but the event organisers are aiming even higher. There will be 35 events with a €1.5 million overall prize pool. Like previous years, the Main Event has a €1 million guarantee and a €1,150 buy-in.
However, unlike other years, there’ll be a Mini Irish Open, which will award a €500k prize pool for a €200 buy-in. There are two exciting new Mystery Bounty Pot Limit Omaha events and two No-Limit Hold’em versions, with the buy-ins being €550 and €1,100.
In previous editions, Flutter’s PokerStars and Paddy Power were the only affiliated brands offering satellites. It resulted in an IPO Main Event that drew around 2,491 participants, boosting the prize pool to €2.4 million. Both brands offered satellites that ensured over 600 entrants earned their spots through online satellites.
This year is no different, with PokerStars running satellites through various promotions, including its Power Path system. Meanwhile, Paddy Power also offers satellites twice weekly to provide guaranteed seats.
This year, the opportunities became even more abundant as the iPoker network joined the lineup of brands offering satellites to the IPO 2024. The network launched this satellite campaign over 20 of its skins, including RedStar. It’s not a surprise, especially considering that the Flutter brand Paddy Power also operates within the iPoker network.
The brand’s campaign offers guaranteed seats around five times weekly and various packages. These packages include Main Event seats and around €1,100 twice a week for additional expenses. With entry fees starting at €10, over two dozen iPoker network skins provide satellite feeders.
Many iPoker skins offer satellites to the IPO, which looks to be on its way to another record-breaking event. As an added bonus, you get additional promotions if you join through the iPoker skin, RedStar. RedStar players can get 35% rakeback over €500 monthly rake, but it doesn’t end there.
There’s also a 15% exclusive chase, and you get a fantastic welcome bonus. New RedStar poker players receive a 200% bonus of up to €1,700 on their first deposit. So join today, claim your exceptional offers, and participate in the satellite campaign to win seats in the IPO Main Event.
