iPoker’s Spring Festival Boasts €5 Million Prize Pool
The month of May brings various poker tournaments, and the iconic iPoker network has brought back its iPoker Festival’s Spring Edition with an upgrade. This year, the festival has a guaranteed prize pool of €5 million! The tournament started on 14 May and runs until 12 June.
Format and Mechanics
As with its previous editions, the iPoker Festival is split into two parts -- the Warm Up series, which ran until 18 May, followed by the Main series, which started on 19 May. The festival boasts 70 numbered events broken into multiple buy-in levels, meaning you have nearly 400 tournaments altogether.
The average guarantee per tournament is €12,659, and the buy-ins range from €2 to €1,000. Satellites with buy-in between €0 to €150 are also available. Also, freebuy satellites with paid rebuys and add-ons fall between €2 and €15.
The games are either six-handed or eight-handed, but you’ll find various types, including PLOs, rebuys, progressive knockouts, flighted events, and more. You can opt-in in the affiliated poker rooms to join the iPoker Festival.
Main Events
Four Main Events are available, and you play each as a Flight KO tournament. The most significant is the €200,000 event with a €150 buy-in. The others have €3, €10, and €30 buy-ins, with a combined prize pool of €300,000.
While not Main Events, other excellent options are the Mid-Series Flighted events, which combine to form a €250,000 prize pool and have buy-ins of €7.50, €50, and €300.
Missions
You can also find various missions in this online festival. These include revenue, satellite, old school, knockout, full session, and alpha predator options available. The missions run every week, and awards are either direct tickets to the events or freeroll entries.
The Growth of the iPoker Network
