The site wins the second successive title, while its parent company, GVC is the “Operator of the Year”.
Online gaming giant, GVC won three awards at the “Oscars of the eGaming sector”, the EGR Operator Awards. In addition to Partypoker's “Poker Operator of the Year”, they also bagged the “Casino Operator of the Year” for their casino offerings, and the “Operator of the Year”.
The annual EGR Operator Awards 2018 was hosted at the Grosvenor House, London last week. Partypoker beat the three-time winner, PokerStars for the poker award, while 2016's "Operator of the Year" Unibet for the latter title.
“I’m absolutely delighted that the efforts of the team have been recognized for the second year running,” said Tom Waters, Partypoker Managing Director.
“Everyone in the team has worked so hard to get partypoker to where it is now and we are excited about how we can now take it to the next level,” he added.
More than 800 professionals of the industry attended the event from Stars Group, GVC Holdings, Sky Betting & Gaming, Kindred Group amongst others. There is a total of 28 award categories including Affiliate of the Year, Game of the Year and Rising Star.
It seems like Partypoker's goal of becoming the number one poker operator through their feedback-based approach pays off, as this award is a huge recognition for the operator.
The judges also praised the site's efforts, in their comment: “Provided many examples of their growth and improving returns from their customers, and showed a real mixture of improving the product and customer interaction, stitched together into an overall strategy. What resonated most was the piece about truly understanding the customer.”
The site welcomes new players with $22 worth of tournament tickets, while weekly cash back up to 40% is available for all players. Those, who register through rakerace.com are also entitled to our exclusive €4,000 race at Partypoker.
