Partypoker Sees a Huge Surge in Player Traffic After New Loyalty Program Introduced

Publish: 2017-06-07 12:12:12

The new partypoker rewards system went  into effect on May 22nd and the poker room has already seen its positive impact on their player traffic.

Partypoker is already one of the busiest poker rooms in the world, their network is currently ranked 4th in terms of player traffic. And it seems they're only going up recently, as in the 2 weeks that passed since the launch of their new loyalty system their traffic has shot up. It's up 6% compared to May last year and it's projected to have a double-digit growth in percentage year-on-year in June! This is especially impressive considering the fact that in the summer, during the WSOP online poker rooms' traffic tend to stagnate at best.

So what's so great about the new loyalty system, as well as other changes on partypoker that attracts so many people?

40% Rakeback, 50% for Diamond Club members

At a time when PokerStars angered many with cutting their rakeback by up to 85% for some players for their new loyalty scheme, partypoker decided to take a bold stand and go in the exact opposite direction. They award their players weekly with cash back based on how much they raked a given week. $5 is the lowest level, that would give 20% rakeback but if you amass $2,000 in rake your cash back rewards is twice as much percentage-wise, 40%.

What's more, for their really productive players raking at least $100,000 a year partypoker is offering the opportunity to join the Diamond Club. Diamond Club members get 50% of what they raked back, along with 24/7 VIP Skype support and other special perks.

Rake cuts for S&G's

Partypoker has cut the fees for S&G's by 20% to 40%, but for heads-up games they went even further than that - the fee you have to pay if you wish to play someone one-on-on is down by a whopping 70%, which means it can be as low as only 1.7% for the $109 Heads-up Hype-Turbo where less than 2% of the money the players put up doesn't go to the prize pool - that is an industry low!

Partypoker also launched their Sit&Go Hero Special Edition: after taking into consideration costumer feedback, they decided to offer an alternative to their regular S&G Hero, which is a 4-handed bounty tournament with a prize pool that is randomly selected by a spin. The special edition is only at the $50 level, and it's played 3-handed and without a bounty.

Overall it's no wonder that players are reacting so overwhelmingly well to the changes on partypoker, unlike to the developments on some other, bigger poker rooms which have gone under heavy criticism.

Also, please remember that partypoker also hosts a $5,600 Exclusive Rake Race for our members. You can
