FTP’s letter, quoted in the related 2+2 thread, states that following “an extensive investigation,” they found that some players “were in violation of our site terms.” These accounts were shut down, but “for a number of reasons,” FTP is “unable to provide any other additional information regarding this case, including the players involved and the game type where it occurred.” Moreover, they made clear there is zero tolerance towards any kind of cheating at the site.
Ironically enough, the distributor of the bot used, Shanky Technologies, evaluates in its release the action taken by the room basically as “stealing,” as they had tolerated it for years and it came out of nowhere.
