The site disclosed the exact date of the HUD-ban.
Partypoker finally issued a statement about the upcoming major changes, which will affect the use of third-party softwares, with the likes of Hold'em Manager, and Poker Tracker amongst others.
As the official statement on partypoker blog reads, the site "plans to release its next major software update for the global dotcom client on 17 June 2019".
All existing players will be required to change their aliases. After logging in to the client, a window will pop-up prompting players to select a new alias. Partypoker's rules regarding player aliases will remain the same, meaning players certain words and phrases will remain prohibited and the aliases will be available on a first come, first served basis.
To encourage the players, to change their aliases as soon as they can, partypoker will be hosting a $500K 'Race to Aliases' giveaway, running only for 24 hours on June 17.
The promotion offers three different ways to win prizes. The 'Login Click Cards' will award players with random prizes worth up to $10,000 in cash right after choosing the new aliases.
The 'Hourly Click Cards' will give away between $10,000 and $40,000 for players, who earn at least 0.10 loyalty points per hour.
In addition to these, the '10K Freerolls' will run exclusively for players who won tickets via the other two promotions.
The promotion will reward players for a total of $500,000.

We want our players to have a fresh start and therefore we are asking all players to select a new alias so that all third-party tool tracking is lost for all our players. At the same time, we have some great promotions running and I’m sure there will be a mad rush by players eager to secure their preferred screen name!”
